A motivated and visionary marketer is needed to join the Business for Good team as our Director of Digital. A key player in our expanding team, they will play a key role as we reimagine community brands and businesses as a seed for change and equity.
The Director of Digital will be responsible for project management on all of Business for Good’s digital campaigns, as well as oversight of the day-to-day management of social media. Responsibilities
- Develop overall digital marketing strategy for BFG and our portfolio of companies, while setting KPIs that measure, expand and continue growth
- Manage the online brands of all our businesses across everything digital — websites, social media platforms, mobile platforms, influencer programs, marketing emails, blogs, digital ads and more
- Oversee internal team of content creators, ensuring digital marketing campaigns and organizational objectives are met, and all digital assets are tracked efficiently

Role
The Content Creator will be responsible for delivering content across all marketing platforms for Business for Good and our portfolio of businesses and initiatives. The qualified candidate will drive excitement across all social channels, understanding the varying nuances across a multitude of audiences, industries, and cultures, and turning followers into fans. The Content Creator has knowledge, acumen and experience in brand management, marketing, content, copywriting, cross-platform media and/or a combination of several.
The role currently reports directly to the Director of Digital and the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be a key player of our team. This is an exciting role for an experienced content creator with high potential for growth.
Responsibilities
- Create content for the social media accounts of Business for Good and its portfolio of brands and businesses across a variety of industries (retail, dining/food, destinations, real estate, entertainment, agriculture, law, lifestyle, pets, and more)
- Familiarity and experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and other social platforms

The Role

- Serve as project lead for all website launches moving forward
- Align all websites with the organization’s brand, strategy and standards
- Audit web content regularly, maintaining, updating and editing as needed

The Role
A motivated marketer is needed to join the Business for Good team as our Community Marketing Coordinator. The qualified candidate will work cross-functionally, serving as a brand ambassador internally and externally, driving excitement across all marketing platforms, expertly managing the varying nuances across a multitude of audiences, industries, and cultures, and turning followers into fans. They will also ensure that all marketing operations are consistent and efficient.
The ideal hire will thrive in a team environment and be able to work independently. They will be expected to have all projects completed by agreed upon deadlines.
The Coordinator will be a liaison to the organizations, businesses, and communities we serve and partner with. As a first point of contact for all external inquiries made to BFG via our communication channels, i.e., social media, website contact forms, newsletters, events and more, the Coordinator will help build and maintain the external relationships that are at the heart of our expanding community, and help the marketing team share their stories.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include social media content creation, support and management of events in the Greater Capital Region; development of marketing materials across digital and traditional platforms, CMS management across the BFG portfolio, and reporting, research and analytics as directed. Projects in support of the overall department and company needs will be assigned in addition to daily responsibilities. This is an in-person position based out of our Saratoga Springs office. The position will also be expected to attend meetings, work on events, and gather community content and information throughout the Capital Region.
The Coordinator should be an enthusiastic marketer looking for an opportunity for professional growth. Successful candidates must be clear communicators, with innate storytelling ability and a love of community development.
The role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This is an exciting role with high potential for growth.
Responsibilities
• Support the marketing strategy from ideation through execution for Business for Good and its portfolio of brands and businesses across a variety of industries (retail, dining/food, destinations, real estate, entertainment, agriculture, law, lifestyle, pets, and more)
• Manage social media comments and digital relationship building with individuals and organizations on behalf of BFG and its portfolio of brands/companies, with input from Director of Marketing and Chief Brand Officer, in a timely and appropriate fashion
• Manage email campaigns and CMS across the BFG portfolio, ensuring a vibrant and informative communication experience with our members. Site opportunities for database growth.
• With oversight from Director of Marketing and Communications, draft and reply to external correspondence received by BFG on a wide variety of topics
• Develop and support community activations and events, such as fundraising, advocacy and awareness campaigns, and impact giving initiatives, including scheduling and implementation of BFG ice cream truck appearances in neighboring communities
• Help shape social media storytelling and ensure seamless integration with BFG’s overarching marketing strategies; working knowledge/familiarity of platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Twitter/X, and others
• Assist with website maintenance and updates across all brands through use of WordPress and other CMS used for digital sites
• Analyze and track performance marketing performance metrics
• Day-to-day project management, including extensive calendar of campaigns and community events, planning for short and long-term success
• Develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of our portfolio of businesses, brands and partners to glean and develop data-driven insights and strategies
• Adhere to existing brand guidelines to secure a consistent and on-brand look, tone and feel for all our brands
• Keep all work and final assets organized and trackable for the team through use of existing asset management system
• Create research documents when requested in support of brand and business growth
• Track media coverage of Business for Good, its portfolio of companies and all supported businesses
• Manage inventory of BFG marketing swag, including replenishing with reorders and acting as lead contact for new items
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a marketing role (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Experience in marketing, social media and community engagement
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong background with social media, including analytics, posting and platform capabilities
• Event experience
